How the CIPP Lining Process Works
Every job starts with a sewer camera (CCTV) inspection. We run a camera through the affected line to assess the pipe’s condition, confirm the host pipe still holds its general shape, and verify that lining is the right method before any work begins.
Liner Insertion & Curing
Once a line qualifies, a resin-saturated felt tube is inverted or pulled into the damaged section. Controlled air or water pressure pushes the liner against the interior pipe walls, and the resin cures using heat, steam, UV light, or water depending on the liner type. The result is a tight-fitting, corrosion-resistant pipe formed inside the old one, with no joints to leak. CIPP liners are manufactured and installed to ASTM F1216, the industry standard for inversion and curing of resin-impregnated tube liners across the trenchless rehabilitation industry.
A final camera pass confirms the completed liner before we close out the job. Most residential lateral jobs are finished within a single day.
